Sailing

Went sailing in the San Francisco Bay this past weekend.

The weather was great but that water is rough.

We experienced every phase from calm to turbulent and back again. By the end we were soaked, cold and thoroughly tired.

Sailing is a lot of work.

Highlights include getting up close and personal with the dino babies (aka: container cranes) and the new bay bridge project. I am hopelessly infatuated with container cranes.

Might have drooled. A little bit.

Great photos! Some friends and I are taking sailing classes next weekend here in NYC (on the Hudson) and these photos are making me excited for what's to come -- it will be my first time, eeks. :)

Oh! I used to live in Oakland and was lucky enough to see those cranes everyday. Thanks for sharing!
